The hazelnut – cultivation and culture

The Langarola Classica Consortium was set up in October 2017 in Cravanzana, with the aim of defending and enhancing the outstanding characteristics of the Tonda Gentile dell’Alta Langa Hazelnut, this area being historically renowned for the cultivation of high quality hazelnuts.

Nocciola Piemonte IGP - Cuor di nocciola - CravanzanaIt unites the producers of the Alta Valle Belbo and is regulated by production rules that guarantee the respect of strict quality standards. The project aims to achieve recognition of a “Cru for hazelnuts”, i.e.: a restricted area to which this fruit owes its absolute excellence.
The Robaldo family is proud to have promoted the project and is an active member of its board of directors.
